MANUFACTURING OPERATIONS PRO JOHN TURPIN JOINS TRG

BOSTON – November 14, 2006 – TRG (www.TRGUSA.com), a leading provider of turnaround, performance improvement and financial advisory services, announced John G. “Jack” Turpin has joined the firm as a Managing Director. Mr. Turpin will play an integral role in due diligence, operations improvement, and interim management engagements, particularly within the manufacturing sector.

“Jack’s strong manufacturing experience is a significant addition to our operations consulting capabilities,” said Stephen Gray, Managing Principal, TRG. “His operational discipline and process focus will be of great benefit to our clients.”

Jack Turpin joins TRG from EGS Gauging, a leading manufacturer of measurement and process control equipment, where he was Chief Operating Officer. Prior to EGS he was with SPX Corporation, a Fortune 500 global industrial products manufacturer. In his eight years with SPX, Mr. Turpin directed several business units in positions that included serving as General Manager, Vice President of Operations and Vice President of Finance. His prior experience includes operations and finance leadership roles in manufacturing companies, where he was responsible for business turnarounds and performance improvement programs.

Mr. Turpin holds a BS in mechanical engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and an MBA from Wake Forest University.

Mr. Turpin will be based in TRG’s Boston office.
