Timothy J. Lewis
Tim has over 15 years of experience as a manager, interim manager,
and advisor to middle market companies. He has managed and consulted to
businesses experiencing unprecedented growth, trying to regain profitability,
and operating in crisis. He has expertise in business assessments
and operational improvement. Tim heads TRG’s Performance Improvement
practice.
During his career, Tim has held executive positions in operations and
corporate development, including managing multi-plant manufacturing operations
and account teams serving Fortune 500 retailers. Consulting leadership
roles have included interim management for businesses implementing operational
turnarounds and financial advisor for businesses in crisis. Tim has worked
with companies in a wide range of industries, including: automotive supply,
capital equipment, metal fabrication, commercial furniture, retail store
fixtures, point-of-purchase displays, and consumer products.
Prior to joining TRG, Tim was an executive with RHC Spacemaster where
he held divisional leadership positions and managed corporate turnaround
efforts. Previous to RHC, Tim was a consultant with Keystone Consulting
Group where he led projects to support clients’ profitable growth
and turnaround underperforming operations. He is co-author of “Implementing
Lean During a Crisis”, Secured Lender, (Sept/Oct 2006).
Tim holds a BA in Political Science from Yale University and an MBA from
Northwestern’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management.
