TRG was initially brought in to perform an analysis of the American subsidiary to identify the business issues contributing to lack of profitability and create a turnaround plan. Subsequently, TRG was hired on an interim general management basis to implement the turnaround plan and prepare the business for sale. Results: TRG managed the subsidiary for six months, culminating in the sale of substantially all the business operations and assets. Subsequently, TRG was appointed as liquidation agent to wind-down the remainder of the subsidiary's financial affairs and supervise the distribution of the proceeds to satisfy creditor claims.
